Modern White Oak Kitchen on Glenallan Street
This Toronto couple wanted a kitchen that felt clean and contemporary without being cold. They cook almost every night and needed serious storage, but they also wanted the space to look minimal and uncluttered.
We designed a two-tone kitchen combining natural white oak with crisp white laminate cabinets. The white oak panels feature grain-matched sequenced veneer, carefully book-matched so the grain flows naturally across the cabinet faces.
Custom finger pull profiles were milled into the drawer fronts and doors—no hardware at all, just clean lines.
We added stainless steel elements throughout: full-height stainless steel cabinets, a roll-up door that hides the appliance garage, and stainless steel countertops that can handle anything they throw at them.
The result is a kitchen that's both warm and modern, exactly what they were after.
