White Oak with Reeded Details

This Cedarvale family wanted a kitchen that felt calm and refined, with just enough texture to keep things interesting. We designed off-white cabinets with narrow shaker doors that give the space a clean, contemporary feel.

The real showpiece is the reeded detailing—we incorporated it in three key places: the kitchen island fascia, the range hood, and the fireplace built-in base. Creating those reeded panels wasn't simple. Each vertical groove had to be precisely milled and aligned, especially on the island where the fascia wraps around.

The white oak desk area ties into the fireplace wall with open shelving and a black-framed display cabinet, creating a dedicated workspace that feels like part of the room's design, not an afterthought.

The fireplace built-ins in natural white oak balance the white kitchen beautifully and provide plenty of display space.
